There some restaurants here and some interesting moored boats. They could develop this stretch a lot more to make it a riverside feature as you see in other towns. It's fine to walk along, but not spectacular.

The street is facing towards the river Weser. Nice for a visit in Summer and even in Winter (December Christmas Market). If you are not afraid of people, especially on the weekends, it's nice to join. Walking distance from the Centre of the city.

I can only give my review of the Schlagter Christmas market. What a beautiful picture! Definitely worth visiting! The whole atmosphere is historic. The clothes people wear, the entertainment and even the stuff you can buy. I was mesmerised by this beautiful picture!

Pleasant, but nothing special. No outstanding restaurants or viewing points. Might be better on a warm sunny day.

Not very large yet spectacular area of Bremen. Stroll along the river, take a look at several ships, enjoy the atmosphere of the place, local and international food and live a happy hour (or two :-)

The weather was perfect and Schlachte was busy in the evening and lunchtime with locals and visitors. A good choice of eating and drinking places - hard to choose but the ones I visited had good service, cold beer, and reasonably priced food.

We ate breakfast in bar celona cafe which was nice. Do try gallo negro in adjacent street heimlichstrasse for magnificent italian food!! Schlachte is nice for a stroll and a beer.

Always something going on. There are regatta festivals, beer festivals, Easter & XMas Festivals. There's always something going on here. There are plenty of German stag/hen do's but surprised UK aren't more aware of this fantastic area for bars and enjoyment.
