Although not what I was expecting it was absolutely brilliant, cars, toys, ww2, naval and merchant shipping history, church carvings, culinary history, home entertainment. Easily accessed by tram service. Little tea room/restaurant great bowl of soup.

This is a well organised museum with lots to see. Frustratingly for us there weren't many descriptions in English but we still enjoyed it. There was a really good exhibition about football and the church. This had an interactive element with quizzes and games. My kids were impressed despite not being great football fans. So my recommendation is to take... More

This museum has artifacts from the city and area from the last 500 years. It covers some eras more thoroughly than others, and it's all a bit of a random collection of things, but it's a GOOD collection of things. Sadly much of the info on items is provided on a tablet with only German commentary, and the signs are... More

I went there for an organised trip with some other students. Actually the guide was not that good as it was quite difficult to understand her English, even though the effort was really appreciated. Overall the museum is interesting as it provides a good overview of the history of Bremen and the near territory. Advisable for families with not too... More

We decided to walk here, it was a long walk. The museum has some medieval artifacts on display. It was very well laid out.

This museum was a very positive experience. Very good display of the objects and very well explained on the signs. Only minus was that the coffee shop only accept cash - the lunch had to be cheapest choise and no drinks, as we did not bring enough cash.

To get a good overview of the history of Bremen this is a great place to go, the only problem is that nothing is written in English, you can have a look at all the old paintings and artifacts but unless you can read German it might not be for you.

I enjoyed this Museum, especially the Wilkens Silver exhibit. This museum is in a lovely setting not far from city center.

Very nice museum, but you must know german to enjoy the visit there. I loved the "Isabella" car and the historical buildings in the garden.
