The place is nice, but our experience was ruined by extremely bad service. At 11.03am, we purchased tickets to see the interior of the palace, which was some 200m away from the ticketing counter. However, on reaching the entrance, we discovered that it was locked....More

We only walked around the outside of Sanssouci Palace, to spend time going through the inside of the Neues Palais (New Palace) instead. Sanssouci is tiny compared to the massive Neues Palais, which is the last great Prussian Palace, with over 200 rooms. It was...More

I found this an interesting palace. Doesn't look like it gets the same level of upkeep as Sanssouci. The Grotto alone is worth the visit - nothing short of amazing. Around 2 hours to visit.

Another of the wonderful palaces included in the Sanssouci+ card. Also with audio guide and had to wait for slot. Very interesting , with typical Rococo style. You learn about rooms and history of the palace. Well worth the visit.

This palace is in contrast to the Sanssouci Palace and its outer facade is majestic. It is at one end of the Sanssouci Park, and we took a bus from Sanssouci Palace to reach it. There is a paid wrist band for taking photos inside...More

We were driving north toward Berlin on Hwy 2 and sidetracked a bit by the University of Potsdam to look in awe at the beauty of these buildings and campus. We walked around a little on a pretty summer morning. This is a 1799 palace...More
