Beautiful location

What a spot to have a castle. Was never finished and is now a venue for weddings/ receptions. The stone work was beautifully done.

It's not another viewing platform, this places offers not only the best view on the rooftops of Potsdam but has a bit of Roman / Italian vibe to it. It stole my heart - starting with the main courtyard, ending on the upper floor. Shadow play in the afternoon is fantastic. Also, it turns out that you can get married... More

Because the lonely planet said it's free, we couldn't get in because we didn't bring money and it's NOT FREE! But we walked all around and it's an amazing and beautiful building. The private villa next door is a fantastic sight too. Makes one jealous ;-)

The entrance fee was in my view a little exorbitant, I wasn't that desperate to see more about the history of a smaller building. But the views from the grounds are spectacular, and you can see that the views from the top of the palace would be spectacular, especially at sunset. Visit the Belvedere in conjunction with a visit to... More

What an excellent restaurant. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but all the food and drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff were brilliant, very efficient and helpful. Nothing was too much. Will definitely go back here.

The Belvedere is a great place to visit with nice views of the lakes and forest around Potsdam and southwest Berlin. (uploaded a photo) The Belvedere was part of a wonderful day of bicycling around the Wannsee, through the forest, and out to Potsdam, including the Belvedere, Schloss Cecilienhof and the Sans Souci Park. The trails are wonderful, you can... More

If your travel to Berlin just plan a day to visit Potsdam. This little castle is one of the highlights there. Enjoy.
