Nice and free park

Even the greenhouse is free, and well worth a visit! The rest of the park is also nice, specially the Japanese garden, and much more colourful during Spring!

Went to visit the park but there was nothing much to see in the various gardens; no flowers, no green leaves but grass covered with snow , frozen water. The cold winter and the damp grounds was not conducive to a long outng in the park. One can easily locate the park by heading towards the towering Heinrich Hertz TV... More

I walked through Planten un Blomen daily on my way to class. The park is beautiful and the perfect recreational spot, whether you want to read or stroll, jog, or simply enjoy nature. Be sure to visit the Wasserspielen in summer, or go iceskating in winter.

After a long day at the university we went to the park after the Dammtor, bought us an icecream at Livoto and settled down in the beautifull chairs in the Park, known as Planten und Bomen. It is possible to enjoy silence and read a book in the middle of the city. Children can play on the different playgrounds or... More

It's a nice park to get away from it all. I imagine during summer this will be a really nice spot to go. In the beginning of december there wasn't a lot going on.

Right in the middle of downtown nestled between old buildings lies this small park. Beautiful older specimens of conifers and northern plants. Water fountains and trickling creek help to remove the city noise.

If you're in Hamburg at different times of the year, Planten un Blomen might be worth a visit every time. As the name suggests, there are many many plants and flowers that bloom at different times of the year, making the park enjoyable at every season.

Lovely landscapes and very plot of land for a park. It is a very nice park to walk around in. I went in the winter and was still stunned by its beauty even though every plant was dead. I'm hoping to explore it again but in full bloom. Definitely worth a look!

I don't understand why this park has such high reviews! We were severely disappointed when we visited in July 2016. I kept thinking, "Is this the park?!" It is pretty neglected (at least at the entrance we used), not many flowers, the ponds were quite dirty, not much going on etc. If you have been to English parks and gardens... More

Can't see it at its best in the winter. Nice winter walk around the park not really much to see in December. Few lakes frozen over! Saw the Japanese garden .
