I decided to attend to the Sunday 10 AM service and do not regret it. There was even a kind sir who gifted me a New Testament in English and Germany! Wear your best clothes and knock off!

Well worth a visit, the exterior is impressive but the interior is beautiful. They have regular orchestral recitals. If you don't mind heights take the lift to the top of the tower for fantastic views of Hamburg.

This is a beautiful church, in very good condition.A must see If going to Hamburg.You can go to the very top of the church.Each day at 12-12.30 there is a concert.Lovely inside th church, lovely wood n pews, that have been well taken care off.

St. Michael's Church is a Lutheran church , a landmark in Hamburg and it's a beautiful baroque design church. You can see its spire whenever you look up to the sky and the spire will lead you to its direction.

I do not know exact timing, but the service is open at 9 AM - that is when I went there. Hope that helps.
