Wow.... It's very moving to see this place. There are many exhibits to see that tell a story about this place. Lots of pictures! They kept excellent records including the books with the names of all the people who passed through this camp- over 23,000....More

A touching place. The exhibit is moving.... many of the incredible photos, which come to mind when thinking about concentration cambs, were taken hete!

It's a bit of a trek from Hamburg but well worth it. This is an excellent and very sympathetic memorial to the prisoners who 'resided' here. Very educational and well thought out. It's free to visit and just a couple of euros for the audio...More

Took us an hour to get here from central station, we got a train then a bus. Was worth the journey. We only had an hour to spend here so just done the main exhibition but could have easily spent another 2 hours. Really heart...More

I would suggest train and then bus as this would be cheaper than getting a taxi as you can get a ticket for both together. I'm unsure of which buses and trains you would need to get but if you go on Google maps and put in... More
