On Mondays museums are closed but the zoo and aquarium were open. It wasn't crowed at all the day I was there. In the zoo go to the glass viewing of the walruses. They will perform for you. The aquarium is what really amazed me. The design and attention to detail would put Disney to shame. The coral reef and... More

This is a prefect Sunday activity to do with your partner or family. They have many different animals and there's a very cozy atmosphere.

Lovely place to visit! I've been there many times: with my family, my friends, my boyfriend - so you can spend a great time with any company! Watch and feed the animals!

One of the best of its kind in Europe! With animals running all around free range, very natural and taken a good care of! Truly well organised! Always great to visit!

We all enjoy the visit. Particularly the aquarium. Plan in advance for a complete day, check for special offers, buy your ticket and enjoy. There are often special offers for the Hamburg Zoo - Tierpark..

This is the best zoo I've been to! You can interact with most of the animals, and feed the elephants! Fair prices as well considering how huge it is!

The zoo is a perfect place to visit on Sundays and have a nice time with family and kids where you can see different kinds of animals and good restaurants specially on sunny days.

We had a very fun afternoon in the Hamburg Zoo! Even though it rained a little bit while we were there. Those 20 minutes were used to have a snack in the zoo restaurant - which was yummy and not too expensive. You can feed the elephants all day and other animals have scheduled times when they get fed. They have a nice range of animals but it tends to et very crowded and it is not a very special zoo. If you want to go visit a zoo then for sure go! But if you want to visit the big nice things of the city it really is not a must. But it can be a nice extra.

We have only tried to feed animals in Africa - not in Zoos. It was a very special experience to feed the elephants. Such a gentle animal. You can't help to fall in love with an elephant.
