This is one of the two flak towers that was built to protect Hamburg during the war, it was also used as an air raid shelter, having been derelict for many years it has now been opened to the public as a Solar Energy plant....More

This building was a WW2 Flak Tower, it has now been born again as a solar energy plant with the enery potential to supply 5000 homes. It has an excellent Cafe on the roof, with wonderful views looking towards Hamburg and Hafen City.
