The Kaiserkeller is one of a few music clubs on Freiheit Street where the Beatles played in Hamburg back in the early 1960's. It is still an active music club as an alternative Rock Club that belongs to the "Große Freiheit 36". Other clubs on the same street were the Indra and the Star Club.

The Beatles History

The Kaiserkeller is just one of the Beatles attractions of the area, where you also find the memorial Star Club, The Bambikino and The Indra Club. You will also find som modern statues of The Fab Four at the end of Grosse Freiheit, and within walking distance you can ind the hotel where The Beatles were hosted at their last stay in Hamburg
