Beatiful ruines with a modern folding roof. Unfortunately I didn't have time to attend a theatre performance but it reminds me the ruins of the monastery in Oybin. The summer night concerts must be nice.
If you are going east west or north south in Germany via the A4 or A7 you will pass Hersfeld and I can only recommend to take a break of one to three hours in this nice little town.
