picturesque promenade along the Main river and the Frankfurt skyline, plenty of small cafes and restaurant invite to prolong the stay/walk and continue into the city center

First thing yu need to do in yur spare time in Frankfurt is a walk at the Main shore its relaxing and the city offers an owesome skyline view. Make shure though that you have visited the toilett before your walk adventure starts....

I was visiting my friend during the Christmas season to be able to see the Christmas markets and all the decorations. We opted to walk a bit along this street to get to the Locks Bridge. The breeze off the river was bone chilling and put a bit of a damper on our mood. I would say that this street... More

Nice walk for a walk on the waterside. Not very special. Can imagine that it is more crowded in the summer. Didn't see a lot of special things but nice enough for a walk to clear your mind. I did a walk in the morning. Don't know how it is in the evening.

I went for a walk through this area. It felt very safe and was quite relaxing. It isn't super exciting or anything but it is peaceful and there is plenty to look at.

This is a lovely area to walk and a good place for photos with the wide river, buildings and bridges. It was all very clean and well maintained and although a short, easy walk from the old town, the views are certainly a contrast.

I love to take friends from abroad to the Mainkai, especially the Museumsufer and watch the opposite skyline, it is a view to kill for and it is an amazing scene during daylight as well as at night with the illumination on the bank skyscrapers. So come here twice.

i didn't see such sky scarpers in my trip in Germany packed together. The place is very fantastic during the night with the lights over the bridge and lights from the high rises is so romantic but you need to be along the the Rhine river or one of the restaurant next the river.
