In a city of museums, this was the only one we chose to visit but it was worth the entrance fee of €7. Got better as we walked around but would have liked to see more of the exhibits explained in English as well as...More

Very well structured, interesting exhibitions in a beautiful building. You need almost a full day to explore everything.

Going to a museum may be a good idea on rainy day, but it's an equally good idea on an especially hot day. To escape the heat of a July scorcher in Frankfurt, we went to the Senckenberg. The subheading on the front of the...More

The museum has a lot on display. Dinosaurs, fossils, ancient fish, common and uncommon mammals etc. There is also a lot of info though most of it is in German, and only the highlights have their an English translation, sadly. This made the museum less...More

Everything is breathtaking for the nerdy inner child within us, since the dinosaur skeletons to the stuffed animal exhibitions. Impressive.

Really amazed at this museum. There are so many dinosaur exhibits and fossils, and with translations in English. Only the older sections of the museum had no translation. Pleasantly surprised at how uncrowded it was (compared with London's Natural History Museum where we had to...More

....not literally, it is clean here. But the presentation is a bit dusty and old school. The dinosaur hall could do with lots more interactive "knowledge" stations - who cares where the bones were found when there is no context. I suggest the curator watches...More
