With several exhibitions this castle/residence is a must see. Combine with a visit to the Bergpark. Very good opportunity to get a peak into Kassel's rich history.

Great location - also where Herkules is - but you need to get transportation to get there. During Documenta 14 you can get a free ride if you want to learn about the new VW e-cars

Great old world charm. The tour and history of the scholastic was well worth the time. Highly recommend the diversion if you are in the area.

We enjoyed our walk around the grounds and decided to purchase tickets to see the inside of the castle. We paid five bucks extra to take pictures. The tour is completely in German with no signs, brochures or descriptions in any other languages. That's fine...More
