Great place for strolling , with lovely quaint old timber-frame houses. Old Germany, live! Some nice restaurants to check out too.

We visited Rüdesheim on the last day of 2017, which was a Sunday, and thought it would be relatively quiet. However, upon reaching one of the sights on the local to-see list - a short and very narrow street lined with cafés, restaurants and souvenir...More

It's loosely translated as the Drinking Street, but this clever little alley holds shops and cafes and plenty to see and enjoy. There's even a hidden carillon! Narrow and rises steeply at the end, it's a great little street in town that connects the upper...More

I remain unimpressed by this narrow street. Apart from a few restaurants, nothing was open on Boxing Day and the crowds too were not there. There is too much hype and sadly people expect more!

An enjoyable stroll during the Christmas season. Not overwhelmingly crowded later in the day. The shops offer a little of this and that with a beautiful atmosphere inviting you to linger.

This little alleyway and area of town is a very special place. Tons of bars and restaurants to choose from and it is all lit up during Christmas. Since Rudesheim isn’t too big, it’s quite easy to find this Street. Definitely something to see when...More

We just walked around, looked at the stores and drank the specialty coffee. We took nice pictures but it was snowing during our 3 hour visit.

This street is a lovely street to walk down at Christmas but there aren't a lot of shops or restaurants and it is very very busy! There are much better things to do in Rudesheim like the cable cars.
