Beautiful scenery,barges,boats ,railways,shops,chair lift,cafes,restaurants,bars,night life,good all round place to go and the Bird sanctuary at the top of the hill and vineyards.

The walk which is "do it yourself " is along the Rhine at Koblenz and requires a train journey of about an hour from Rudesheim. There is plenty to see on the way both in and on the river.
