In the middle of a modern city you can find yourself inside sth weird and great. Empty, but you feel the spirit of that time. Your imagination starts drawing pictures of how it might have been going hundred years ago, and a bell sound makes...More

Well I'm not sure that I can say that much about this place... I liked it, I took nice pics but literally it took me 6 mins to finish. I do recommend visiting it, going inside as well. Just don't expect much that's my only...More

By far my favorite spot as a tourist in the city. The memorial to Hannover's afflictions and reminders of WWII is brilliantly powerful and a must visit. The remaining architecture and relative accessibility makes it a great stop on a walking tour through the city....More

As others have noted this church was partially restored after severe damage in WW2 and now sits quietly in a residential neighbourhood just off a main intersection not far from the station. You can quickly figure out what happened here just by walking around in...More

If you visited the Rathaus or town hall, this is a skip and jump from there and a must see. You'll only spend maybe 15 minutes here but you'll be reminded of the sacrifices that were made for peace. It's a wonderful memorial to the...More
