A real gem in Hannover a great place to walk and relax whilst in the city, a must visit. Great views and in a quiet part of the city away from the busy areas.

Six kilometers of walking and biking paths surround the Maschsee. The perfectly flat terrain makes for easy going by foot or bike and there are plenty of benches for taking a break. There are a couple of restaurants near the paths around the lake.

Nice location for a stroll, we went on the round trip boat ride that I would say was not worth the money and a walk around the edge would be more rewarding.

You visit Hannover? Go maschsee! Really. The page is man made, it's the heart of Hannover and you can boat on it, if you like. Pick a sunny day and enjoy. Full pull.
