I visit Greifswald with other 14 colleagues and we had a walk tour from an expert (Fuss Entdecken). If you ever visit this town don't forget to walk!

The exterior of this cathedral is quite impressive with its onion domes and I was expecting quite a lot from the inside. However, it was very plain inside, being all painted in white. There was some restoration work going on. A lot of the artwork...More

The interior of the cathedral has been Victorianised so the highlight dor us was climbing the tower and getting wonderful views of the city and surrounding countryside. The exterior is very striking especiaally when viwed from the Markt and the Caspar David Friedrich centre

Magnificent cathedral around the corner from Caspar David Friedrich's birthplace. Fabulous concerts and bars next door where, if you're lucky, you'll hear organists practicing at night. Niftily eerie!

It is a brick cathedral from the 14th century. Very impressive. Must see. Very nice and interested view from the tower. The cathedral had a couple of misfortunes like storm in the past. But still in very good condition

An exponent of the brick gothic style. It's very impressive because it is HUGE. I only saw it from the outside but am sure it is interesting to see from the inside.
