Why visit a country if you dont see architectual highlights? They are like appetizers to the main course of its culture. The church is massive, with some renovation ongoing, and the interior is chock full of miniature architectual gems, motifs, accents, colors and examples of...More

As far as Churches go this is a nice one, as are all the churches in Stralsund. Unfortunately it was under construction when we were there, so we didnt see it in its fullest splendour.

This is a brilliant place to pass away an hour if your are into church architecture. Be sure to read the information board outside with details of the lightening strike.

Nice but seen it all before. If you have not seen it before then enjoy because it is worth it as an example of Hansiatic architecture.

This is a large church / cathedral in the centre of Strasund, with an entry fee of 2 euros. Although impressive from the outside, the interior is very poor and extensively damaged. It is undergoing repairs and to be honest, the interior is more like...More

Beautiful and one of the best examples of 'brick Gothic'. Good to see it after Wismar and Greifswald.
