Our SPB guide, who lives in Warnemunde, took us on a very pleasant tour of beautiful Warnemunde. We strolled down through town enjoying the well maintained small homes occupied in the past by fishermen and other town folk. Unfortunately this town has become a favorite...More

We visit Warnemunde on a beautiful sunny day with a slight breeze. It was probably as nice a day as northern Germany Beaches get. It is easy to understand why the wind blocking beach chair was invented here. With the breeze the beach was just...More

Enjoyed spending the afternoon on a beautiful beach after a busy morning in Rostock. Nice beach, nice people, clean.

Great sunset views here. You can also see the ships moving out of and into port. There's a lighthouse that makes for a fun photo op. Collected some flint, but didn't see any shells. Amazingly few people for sunset, but it was windy. Lots of...More

Unexpectedly came to Warnemunde since it was the last stop on a Baltic Cruise. The ship's staff didn't make a fuss about it but this small sweet port and it's beach were a final treat. The beach is lovely and has fine grained white sand,...More

We stumbled on this beach while in port, collected shells, and walked along the water. There are tons of rental cabanas PLUS boardwalks that run from the strand to mid-water.

We didn't actually walk on the sand but you can easily see the beach from the walk on the Mole. It's quite wide and fairly flat - lots of folks on the beach in early May on a warm, sunny day.

Plus: easy to reach with public transport, only 20 mins from Rostock, plenty of food and leisure boat options. Minus: big crowds not only from the cruises ships, but also regular local and regional tourists, very touristic place with many cheap eateries etc. If you...More

Beautiful beach to walk on, even in winter. The Baltic See looks quite and calm (almost no waves). Along the beach some hotels, like the Neptun

Wide beach with nice fine sand. Ideal for families with kids, because if playing grounds, shallow water often low easy waves

Hello, its very near but you should see which port you end up. Most of the times, you bark at Warnemunde port but sometimes when its busy, you land up in industrial port which is quite difficult to access the Warnemunde... More
