Visited the beach area on a stopover from our cruise. It so happened that there was a semi-final for European beach guards to test their skills against one another. Today they were doing a 90m run on the beach. The next event is swimming. An...More

Even though the days were very windy during the visit in Warnemunde and the sea thus wasn't very welcoming, it was easy to imagine how nice it can be to relax on this beach during a warm and sunny calm day. Nice!

Warnemund beach is in the Batic Sea. Despite beautiful and to be a touristic place, I wonder who goes in the sea. Too cold.

It was a chilly day but we couldn't resist getting in the water. Wonderful sandy beach and a beautiful sunset to enjoy.

I was surprised by the fine clean sand & the length of the beach. There was a strong onshore breeze that created small wave breaks & explained the abundant beach tents & shelters for sun seekers & bathers. People were everywhere.

Our NCL Getaway did not dock at Warnemunde on time. Either the waves and wind were a factor or another ship was where we were supposed to dock. Either way we got to the town the next day. We walked around the beach, down the...More

This beach really is a busy place, sadly with that comes trash dropped by tourists. It could do with a bit of beach combing, get rid of the smelly, rotting debris washed in by the tide. The ambiance music played by the loud speakers was...More

The Town is in easy "strolling" distance from where the Cruise ship docked & is mainly flat walking 10 Min's (Google map the port, Ships dock near the railway station) You can access the Beach with equal ease. Hope you Love... More
