The Aachen Rathaus is a lovely old building in the old part of Aachen and well worth a visit inside. I recommend a guided walking tour of the old town where you can also see many lovely buildings.

Each room contains beautiful artwork and decorations. The Coronation hall is amazingly huge and the decorated ceiling is beautiful. There's also a cabinet with the Crown jewels and murals around the walls. Would recommend a visit.

Being from nz we don't have old buildings so we find it easy to get cathedrals and city halls confused. The city hall is beautiful. Amazing architecture and we'll worth a visit. Right in the middle of the markt centre.

It is amazing. I love Rathaus buildings at Germany, but this one have something unique. Catchs your soul. Also there is a tiny restaurant on the left side, which is also so lovely.

One of the very few things you should see/ do in Aachen. It is a typical historical building in town.

We didn't get a chance to dine there but it was very busy and is very popular Google it or find it on Tripadvisor and book accordingly. Have a good time in Aachen.
