The cages for animals were small in relation to what captured animals would actually need. Some of the animals looked to be in bad shape, and were pacing around in their small cages which anyone can tell is a sign of stress. Sure there are...More

This is a small zoo, but quite informative and with lots of feeding sessions. You can easily spend a whole day here. There are few kids play zones as well. My daughter loved the place.

The zoo is almost overgrown, so you have the feeling of being in a forrest, at least some places. It's an old zoo which has seen quite some renovation and it's still ongoing. The new parts are really nice, and there are plenty of great...More

Quite a collection of wildlife from around the world. Animals appeared healthy and well cared for. Nice casual restaurant, play areas for the kiddos, overall an enjoyable way to spend 3-4 hours or more.

I loved the Zoo. Just be warned on a hot day it can get tiring. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in cologne. Lots of photo opportunities

Nicely laid out and easy access via transit. Great spot to bring the kids. Zoo ticket also includes the aquarium next door.

The zoo is quite big and you need over 2 - 2.30 hours to see all the animals. It has nice corners for kids, parks and games. Generally a must visit place for all loves of wild life

Yes, I would say this as well, you can chose, there is a lot to see and if you love plants even more. There is a restaurant so you can have a break - and you can also visit the Aquarium which is lovely.
