Lovely miniature railway although at 600mm gauge it's quite large for a small railway. There are two locomotives and several carriages. Suitable for even tall adults it circles the Rheinpark and is a fun way to rest your feet.

Nice little jaunt around the park. The train is slow and is perfect for very small children. You don't really get to hope on or off which was a bit disappointing because the park is big and it would have been nice to have a shortcut to the playground. But my two year old loved it. That's what matters!

Took the little train to the far end of the park and walked back from there. The train is very reasonably priced and you can access the train from the Cologne cable car if needed. The views from the riverbank of the park were lovely. Looking over Cologne and the Dom. I was surprised as to how peaceful and quiet... More

This is a really good open space for the children to run around in very close to the centre of Cologne. The train was a really good price and the ride is quite long. The play equipment was well maintained with lots of choice. Really good for young children.

The return fair from Zoo station (accessed by Streetcar 18 from Rhine west side) is €6.50. You get spectacular views of the Rhine and the Rheinpark is a wonderful amenity. Unforgettable panoramic views. Well worth the fare!

Must Go. Like all parks and attractions of this kind in Germany, very beautiful, clean and organized. Very surprising to anyone who has visited other places of the same type in other European countries. Recommend

Me and my husband found this park and walked around it. It is very nice and quite. Very pretty. They have a nice playground for kids and a train that takes you around the park. It cost $2.50 euros for the train.

Not a unique means of transport, but it gets you nicely around the park. Walking is more fun. Very nice view of the Old Town across the Rhine river.

I was born in Koeln (Cologne) 41 year ago and I lived there for 6 years. This was my favourite attraction of the city. Now, 35 years later, I brought there my 2 children. They also loved it. However, I have to say that it is expensive. 2.5 euros per round, no reduction for children or families, is too much.... More
