This is an interesting tour of the history of Cologne, and it has a lot of neat historical information. The place seems a bit full of themselves, but that is part of the charm. The fragrance itself is OK, but I prefer the 4711 (their...More

I really enjoyed my visit to the Farina house. It was insightful and fun, but only if you're interested in perfumes. It's in a fun area of Cologne, near the cathedral, with shops, restaurants and lots to do. I really loved it! To the family...More

Other than seeing the dom (cathedral) and trying the local kolsch (beer), the other main attraction of Cologne is its famous history with fragrances... specifically, Farina and 4711. While both are worth visiting, we found the detour to 4711 more enjoyable, but Farina was still...More

This was a wonderful visit. Very informative. The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided a very unique overview of the history and current practices surrounding perfume making. I would recommend booking a tour in advance. Just note that the venue does not have a restroom.

We visited this perfume museum believing we were going to see something more than what we saw. The guide was very nice, but it's a short visit. The fragrance is good.
