Lovely walk along the promenade at New Year. The Rhine is a very fast running river great to watch the boats.

the most beautiful part of town with a wheel that resembles that in Vienna, a lot of tourists, small bars, restaurants!

You can walk as far as you like along the promenade or just enjoy the view of the river from the Burgplatz . A bit bleak in winter on a weekday but plenty of 'life' here at the weekend .

Nice place to spend some time and enjoy the local shopping and food. Ride the Ferris wheel and see the city from a different perspective.

Rheinuferpromenade is a perfect place for a stroll. It is easy to understand how important the river is for this city. There are number of nice places to have a drink and bite.

Do take this walk along the roaring Rhine in late fall. Rain and light snow cannot stop the ambiance from the rushing water with sculptures and architecture and views everywhere. So very beautiful.

Loved strolling by the Rhine! Lots of restaurants and bars, and people. Well-kept. Plenty of architectural interest, too.
