Promenade on the sediments is great ,especially at dusk when the water along both is bathed by sun rays. All the promenade is flanked by restaurants where you can serve a beer, wine or even something to eat.Sometimes you have the opportunity to see even...More

Yes it is breathtaking and therefore worth the walk to get there. The many flavours wafting from the ma y restaurants and the beauty of the Rhine will take your breath away.

There certainly are enough bars and restaurants to keep most people happy, although I'm sure you can find better quality elsewhere and avoid the massive TV's showing football. But the views are great not least at sunset.

It is a pleasant walk along the river, away from the road traffic and looking at river barges passing by. Old buildings along the side as you approach the Altstadt from the Mediahafen. A flock of geese flew over as children cycled off to school.

Went on Sunday afternoon and a lovely sunny day. Perfect place to have a stroll and a drink in the many bars all along the river.

On a nice sunny day it was great to walk around and enjoy the sunshine. Regretfully there is so much going on with refurbishment . Liked the old one better, but it is still worth a stroll.

When you are in Düsseldorf you cannot miss this part of it. It is beautiful. The promenade is pretty long if you walk the entire piece of it. But very beautiful. One of the highlights in Düsseldorf if you ask me.
