This zoo is very much out dated. The only thing that was super was the Dolfinarium. The show is very well set up. The kids loved it. The park needs a lot of maintenance.

Certainly probably the best thing to do in the city of Duisburg, the Zoo is located about 4-5 mins away on the tram. Entry admission prices are standard as they would be for other zoo's. Some notable attractions include the Koala's, Siberian Tigers and South American houses. We did not see any of the bird exhibitions as there was an... More

We have been there last weekend with my wife and two kids (4/5 years old). It was a sunny day and we spend a beatiful day. Very nice diversity of animals with a great surprise within the dolphins show. We spend as well nice time in the playground, our kids love it!

Again we've had a wonderful day, even in February when it was a bit chilly. It is an old zoo, dating back to 1934. Some of the enclosures are smaller as those in younger zoos and somewhat dated - might need updating. Since our last visit in 2016 a new tiger area has been created as well as a children's... More

I visit the zoo late January, really cool so many animals weren't there. I had to watch where I walked because some parts were frozen. I thought maybe the zoo would do a better job at adding salt. Theres a pass over a highway which i think its a bit too loud for the animals. Theres a dolphin show you... More

if you have seen some really big zoo, kindly do not spend your money here. but if want to do something at-least, you can visit this. dolphin's show is the main attraction. reach there before 20-30 mins on weekend and holidays to grab good seat. check the splash zone, in the splash zone you get thoroughly DRENCHED! best place for... With group of friends we bought cheaper tickets on Groupon (9,90€) and spent an afternoon in the zoo. You find there all kinds of animals, I especially enjoyed koalas and pandas, dolphin show was average, however I believe kids definitely liked it (and there were many families with kids on that weekend).

Oh yeah indeed it was relaxing and really worth the time spare to go and have a look. Not disappointed but i went there at around... More
