Enjoyable daily activity for all ages. The variety of animals isn’t crazy, but the ones they do have are surprisingly friendly and entertaining. What we enjoyed most is you can feed many of the animals, and even walk through some of the animal exhibits through...More

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Kaiserslautern Zoo. I live down the street and figured why not visit one day. They have a free range sloth which was amazing. The zoo does a live bird show which was a lot of fun (only...More

This is a very small zoo with a limited amount of animals. If you're in the area, it's a good place to take a walk and have a picnic but don't bother making a special trip.

Decided to try the zoo since it was local and open on a Sunday. Very small. Some animals couldn't be seen. Little one was happier with the play ground than the exhibits. Could have done a playground for free. It's a one time trip, not...More

The entry fee of 7,50€ is a little bit overcharged. The animals look healthy and as if they have enough space though. The bathroom right next to the entry is very dirty, smells bad and is hot. The one next to the 'restaurant' upstairs is...More

Kids loved hanging around the otters. Small, but fun zoo. Some of the animals looked a bit sad, but living in a zoo might be the reason.

I love to take my daughter here in the morning. We get there when it opens at 9am and spend the morning visiting all the animals. There aren't a lot of "exotic" animals you'd find in big zoos (like elephants/tigers), but for a small kid,...More

Very small. Fenced enclosures not geared to keep animals out in view. Good to introduce young children, but if you've been to any other zoo you'll be disappointed. The 3 year old we took was more interested in the playground than the animals. I won't...More

My kids loved the low fences and the parks! The petting zoo was our favorite park and it was surprising to see so many animals. The staff was friendly and the bird show was wonderful! It was really a free place to roam and so...More
