All these buildings have been restored beautifully since WW2. It is interesting to see photographs of Koblenz in 1945 to understand the level of devastation. Bearing this in mind the restoration is pretty stunning.

Not really much remains of the old town as a result of WW2. These buildings with the quaint little corners form a good landmark to find your way around. They are very nice in their own right and lead on to a pretty square.
This intersection, Vier Turme ("four towers") is pretty much in the center of Altstadt at the intersection of Marktstrasse/Löhrstrasse and Am Plan/Altengraben.
