It's only 5 euros. The second floor was the best. The security guard was keen to show us how to get the displays to light up and play .

Toys from childhood. Objects from fairy-tails. I didn't plan to visit this small museum. But occasionally visited it and was very glad. Especially for girls - the collection of wonderful dolls. Really nice feeling to come back to own childhood - some memories, impressions. Really...More

We went to see this museum, because it was on our way and we had the Dresden Museums Card, which gave us free access to it. After we visited it, I must say that I would have bought a ticket anytime, no matter if it...More

This Museum has interesting examples of furniture, household items and clothing. Additionally there are fascinating examples of wooden carved goods, originally hobby items, but later commercially produced. Also there is a collection of toys and puppets - some of which can be tried.

On the Neustadt side of the Elbe, a twenty minutes walk from the Zwinger, this three floor museum displays a great collection of works, including rustic handcrafted furniture, costumes, historic toys, Xmas paraphernalia, woodcarvings, metal forged items, miniatures, and much more. Unfortunately, the famous puppet...More

After viewing the Old Masters at the Zwinger we took a break and went to the Neustadt. While there we happened upon the Saxon Folk Art Museum that also includes a collection of toys and puppets. While relatively inexpensive, this museuim was included in our...More
