Close to the city centre this is a fabulous green area of lovely walks. Perfect place to spend a restful few hours away from the hustle and bustle. There is a miniature train children would love to take you around part of the park.

It's a great location for a sunny day. It's located next to the city center and easily accessible by tram. The garden is taken care of very well, the palace with the pond make for a great picture. There is even some open mini theatre,...More

We walked from the city centre and it was well worth it. It covers a huge area and you can walk through the trees. The English garden was beautiful and so colourful in May. Lots of seats and you could really spend a day there....More

This is a great place to go for a walk in the early spring as many crocuses of differing colors (the purple are especially pretty) are in bloom. The inside of the Palais is being renovated, but the exterior is lovely to look at.

We started our first day in Dresden by hopping off the tour bus and walking through this garden. The layout of the long alleyways is beautiful, and there is also a kind of woody part as well. Delightful to see so many young children and...More

Dresdeners are so lucky to have such a large parkland to walk off the large Christmas lunches. This area is incredible and would be a great place for a family or a romantic picnic. Even during winter it is a lovely place.

Rode through here quickly on bike in the afternoon visit - lovely open spaces and gardens - huge by non-european standards.

We entered the park from the side which is further from town centre. Lot of people were jogging and running there and all I could do was to envy them. Next time I'm bringing my running gear as well. The area is very large and...More
