If you're interested in younger health's history and vivid examples of progress you should take a look at this museum. Also special exhibitions are captivating to my point of view. Big plus: the ticket is valid for two days! For sure you can see most...More

The name of this museum is somewhat misleading as it is not really dedicated to hygiene but to health care, which I don't think are the same. It is similar to, but smaller and more to the point than, London's Wellcome Collection. The admission price...More

This was an interesting museum, not only for the special exhibit about race, but for the interactive exhibits.

We have seen a number of museums like this that are based on an exploration of the human body and human nature. As such, it was well done, but certainly not novel. Had we known this, we would have taken in other attractions.

This museum needs a serious makeover and upgrade. This was nothing more like an old oversize biology book for me. Depressing building and unimpressive. I fled disillusioned.

I could’ve spent at least another hour here! The exhibits were modern and interactive, as well as educational. The staff was friendly and the space was very clean and well put together. I loved the animal exhibit too and the gift store is a great...More

First of all, despite the name "Hygiene" in the museum name, the museum is actually more about human body than about hygiene. Aside from that, I think the museum is very thorough in explaining the human body in general. For example, it has numerous exhibits...More

I visited the museum while I was on a study abroad program. My professor explained that we were visiting a hygiene museum so we all assumed that we would learn about pretty much being clean. It was a huge surprise when we walked into a...More

I have seen it several times with different themes. Historic museum with a wide offer of possibilities.

We really enjoyed looking at the exhibits in this museum and wish there were more museums like it in other cities but our visit was quite spoiled by the fact that there are almost no explanations for any of the exhibits in English; consequently we...More

Don't leave Dresden without have visited this museum!!! The name can make a small missunderstaning: the focus of the museum is the human body, how it work, his perceptions in relation with science, history and culture. Very interesting historical material, very modern presentation and an...More
