An extensive collection of locally produced porcelain and ceramics from the Orient. The ticket office on the top floor is not good.

There are thousands of beautifully created porcelain objects in this gallery that are very well displayed so that you can get a close look at them. It is also interesting to note the stories about items stolen during the war and how they have been...More

The collection is nice but overall the quality of the pieces is not the tops. We visited the Meissen Factory's collection and found the artistry and variety of the pieces to be far better than the Zwinger's collection. The Animal room is pretty good but...More

While you may not know much about porcelain, once you have visited this place, and read the details, you will appreciate how important it was to collect and show off. A multitude of wonderful examples.

We visited on a wet day (so wanted to do something indoors) but we were very pleasantly surprised and in awe of not only the individual pieces, but the number of them on display! There were so many, and so intricate, detailed, of all different...More

I enjoyed our visit. Even though I am not that "into" porcelain, I still found myself enjoying the beauty of the items. The west side was a bit too warm to enjoy as the summer sun was beating into the beautiful windowed corridor. Had it...More

An expo with a tremendous collection of Asian porcelaine. Lot's of pieces to look at in the rooms. Be sure to read the explanations or I would recommend to take an audio guide and the richness is in the story and not only in the...More
