My fiancé and I weren’t really sure what to expect as he hadn’t been here since he was in school (originally being from Kiel whereas I am from the UK). It was actually a very interesting museum and deceptively large inside compared to the outer...More

This is a well set out museum on a number of floors. There are many exhibits - skeletons, specimens, videos with some English translations. Cost 2 euro for seniors.

A small but delightful museum. Few pieces, but some very striking to the eye, such as enormous skeletons of long extinct animals. Inexpensive (I payed two euros, since I were a student), cozy, warm and varied, despite its finite size.

Surprisingly interesting and thorough museum, all for a relatively inexpensive price. I spent a lot more time here than I originally planned and enjoyed myself much more. I imagine it would be great for kids, as well.

The museum is cheap so don't hesitate to go. It is small but very interesting, with many stuffed specimens, although some are old and need refurbishing! The whale skeletons are beautiful but my favorite part was the black room where they have deep-sea creatures in...More
