It is interesting to see where and how Goethe lived. The house is very much as he left it. The garden is very pretty. I only know the story of Faust and so felt very ignorant when reading about Goethe's life.

Lovely museum in the house where Goethe lived for 50 years. Furniture, sculptures, library everything is well kept as at Goethe time. It gives a very good insight of the life of the greatest German poet.

Awesome feeling to wander through the rooms where the famous philosopher once lived. The original hardwood floors as everything else are well preserved.

I viewed this museum with a lot of prior knowledge on Goethe. It was well done, a little expensive ($12 each). It was great to see original parts and sets. The coolest were where he died and studied.

As a Goethe´s house it is a good place to have a notion about the great work of this great German writer. His office and other rooms of this big house. His house is located beside the Museum.

This museum is an absolute must during your visit in Weimar. It is big, well presented, modern, interactive, informative, never boring, intelligent. Do not miss it.
