We were having a drink in café in the square when we noticed that there was small museum. It wasn't on our list of things to see but as it was free we thought we'd have a little look and were amazed by the intricate and beautiful leatherwork. The detail and colour were outstanding. The curator was charming and helpful... More

If you happen to find yourself in the Jewish quarter of Córdoba be sure to stop in at this lovely shop/museum. The leather work is very beautiful. On display are wall hangings and boxes covered in gorgeous leather that has been tooled or stamped. It's a small museum/shop and there is no fee to enter, although you can make a... More

This little museum is amazing. All the paintings are created from leather, some with paint, others with metal inlaid. They are quite Arabic in appearance, and not to my taste, but you can appreciate the work that has gone into them. The first room you come into is a small shop where you can buy pieces of art. The prices... More

Splendid examples of the cordobans - the painted and gold-decorated pieces of art made of leather. Worth every penny to see it.

The proprietor of our inn mentioned that this small museum/studio was worth a visit while we were in Cordoba, and we definitely agree! This is a lovely introduction to the work of artist Ramon Garcia Romero, as well as to the tradition of leather-based art which has such a strong pedigree in Cordoba. Admission is free, but you will want... More

Stumbled over this museum completely by chance, and quite frankly we have never seen anything like it before. Unbelievable intricate works on leather ... well worth a visit, which is even free ...

The Casa Museo Arte Sobre Piel displays the work of the artist Ramon Garcia Romero, who is very original because he places his art on leather. I have never seen anything like this before and I admire very much each of his pieces displayed in the museum. The museum is free.
