It maybe the Palace of the Christian Kings but the layout is definetly Moorish

We wanted to visit it but it didn't work what was dissapointing. I understand that sunday is sunday but still -usually turistical places works even on Sundays. A lot of people came and came to the door - butit was closed (WE were sitting near for some time) I tink they should look for some decision to solve that

We heard that at night they had water displays and went to look out the location. The gardens are incredible with lots of water features - typical of the Moors. Inside there were beautiful displays of Mosaics. That night it rained so we never saw the water fountain display. Next time.

Beautifully laid out gardens, with wonderful pools & streams running through them. However they were in transition, being replanted when we saw them, so not at their best. Drinking fountains are dotted around the gardens but no cafe, and there are quite steep steps everywhere so no good for those with limited mobility.

Beautifully laid out gardens, but not a lot to see inside the buildings, apart from some mosaics. The view from the tower is worth the short climb up. Another tower is closed off. The best of the roses were over, and another year we will go at the end of April, just before the patios start. We went on Friday... More

We were really looking forward to visiting and ensured that we were there early to avoid the queues. Once we paid to enter we noticed that there was no information in English however we did notice that we could purchase a guide and promptly did so. It did give information but no indication of how we should proceed with our... More

Beautiful but definitely not suitable for pushchairs despite what the staff say!! We went on a sunny day and it was lovely.

The glorious weather helped, but these are super gardens. Lots of colour even in early April. Lovely just to stroll up and down the paths taking in the plants and water features, definitely a photographer's dream. Some of the piping in the water features looked as though they might produce much more spectacular displays than was on offer when I... More

I did not want to climb the stairs to the tower. Lots of stairs in the gardens. Waterfalls and beautiful trees. Well landscaped so bring your camera. E4.50 entrance - less for students. Fish in the water and one enormous red star of show! Go early or late otherwise there is a big queue and you could waste half an... More

Alcazar has beautiful gardens to watch. The entry ticket is around 5 euros. Gardens are okay to watch. In Cordoba if you have one night you can see Mezquita, Alcazar and several other places. Make sure you book a hotel near to the centre.
