Yes, there are 12 pillars here, and that’s all, the rest resembles a building site. You can restore or sympathetically rebuild Roman ruins but similarly leaving one as found with just the remains of a building is not unusual. But here but nothing has been done to make this remotely interesting or attractive just a fence around a building site.

I personally would recommend skipping this unless you just happened to come across this during your wandering of Cordoba. There really is not much to see. I wasn’t expecting Rome by any means but still just a 30 second look is all it took. There are some feral cats in the ruins which to us were more interesting.

I expected a little more than a few pages.
I do not recommend especially coming to the place.
The surrounding area is also quite desolate and disappointing
It is better to concentrate on the old area and the new area Plaza de las Tendillas

While walking about the city, we happened upon the Roman Temple ruins. They were interesting enough to see; probably not something I would purposely seek out, but still nice to view. If I recall correctly, the Real Iglesia San Pablo Church is also nearby. Regrettably, both were not accessible when we visited.

As per history says. Was built by roman emperor Claudius. (41-54 AD) found accidentally when city hall was going through expansion in 1950 .

Sure, I've walked across Greece and Italy and seen the big sights. But, I didn't even expect to find this, and wasn't looking for it. I was just walking near my hotel, turned the corner, and lo-and-behold, there is a Roman monument right by city hall, on the way to dinner. Now, tell me that's not worth 4-stars just for the surprise factor? Right now, it is undergoing restoration about its base. It was discovered in the 1950s during the expansion of City Hall! It was created in the reign of emperor Claudius in around 50 A.D.

The "Roman Temple" consists of ~10 roman columns, plus at the time when we were there they were under restoration.
Not really much to see there. If you already visited some other Roman ruins: just skip this place :)

Extraordinary that something so old and historic just appears .Part of the wonder of Cordoba is the endless places of interest.There is an excellent restaurant across the square so it will not be a wasted visit or detour

The question always gets me - how did the build such wonderful columns so long ago, some people say there isn't much to see - God this is not A fun fair, it's wonderful history at its very best.
This is a truly amazing sight and well worth seeing - wonderful.

As said in the title, these are a couple of pillars in the middle of the city. And not spectacular like you see in Rome for instance. If you happen to pass by please visit, but no need to go out of your way.
