Watch tower from the eighteenth century, situated in the down town and the highest point of the city, turned today into a focal point of cultural interest. The tower has two exhibition halls, the Camera Obscura and the terrace from which you can enjoy wonderful views of CádizIts Cámara Obscura was the first one installed in Spain.

Good view and a fun guide! Good job, Pili, no need to bring Ana into this hahaha. Skip it if you don't like stairs.

We really enjoyed the magnificent 360 degree view of Cadiz from the top of the tower, but the camera obscura was something very different & even in this technological age is a marvel. The guide was very informative, witty & engaging. Definitely worth a visit.

Torre Tavira is something that one can't miss when in Cádiz. The view from up there is amazing and Cámara Oscura is really interesting and something that most people probably haven't seen before.

Views of the beautiful Cadiz are well worth the (quite high) climb. Stairs are quite narrow, yet comfortable enought. Good place to take pictures and selfies. Highly recommended!

They seem to run very frequently I'd say about every 30 minutes, but the problem is that it may not be in your language every 30 minutes. Although this would not be ideal I still think you'd enjoy the camera obscura. No need... More
