This is the tallest of the 133 watch towers that are still standing in the old city of Cadiz. You get to enjoy the most amazing view of the city and to also see details through the mirror periscope show. The tour of the city...More

The Camera Obscura is the real attraction here. It's an interesting technology that uses mirrors to project a "camera view" of the city on to a disk in a darkened room. The presentation is about 15 minutes and the guide points out may sights around...More

Not only you get great views of the city from the roof of this tower (on of the more than 100 towers of Cádiz), but also the 15 minutes in the Camera Obscura are superfun! Recommended!

We made a mistake of not going here right after getting off our ship. That had been my intention but I goofed. Because of the city design - buildings close together on narrow streets - you don't see the tower until you are right near...More

Our hotel had recommended this destination as it had the best views of the city. It was six euros per adult and five euros per child therefore all in all a relatively inexpensive visit. We were able to walk all the way up the tower...More

Lots of buildings can take you to the top for a wonderful view, but this tower has a twist: it has a camera obscura. Warning: you must climb to the top of the tower to get to see it. There are no elevators. Once at...More

Came here primarily to see the camera obscura which is at the top of this tall, narrow watchtower. Torre Tavira is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as the only way to the top of the tower is up many many steps inside a...More

We managed to get into the next English guided tour. Very interesting and we learned quite a bit about Cadiz and it also gave us a sense of direction.

Many people like viewing Cadiz from the Cathedral tower, which has a wonderful view too. However, the Cathedral doesn't allow you to get a large panoramic view because of the bell-tower arches. So! Head here for an open, fresh-aired experience! When you arrive, walk up...More

They seem to run very frequently I'd say about every 30 minutes, but the problem is that it may not be in your language every 30 minutes. Although this would not be ideal I still think you'd enjoy the camera obscura. No need... More
