This is one of 160 watch towers that the city is famous for. They were used by merchants to keep an eye on the coast for incoming ships. Cádiz used to have a monopoly on trade with South America for a while. There are 2...More

We found that the two exhibition halls didn't have that much to see to be honest. Of course the views were beautiful and they had some information in them but it was so hot in there. The terrace was beautiful but again so hot. The...More

Really enjoyable visit. Informative and fun. 100mph (or kph) dual English and Spanish commentary pointing out all the best landmarks. Would thoroughly recommend.

One of the highlights of our day in Cadiz was a trip up the stairs in the Torre Tavira - we were there late in the afternoon and views over the city were stunning.

Our walking tour guide explained about the towers of Cádiz and recommended a visit to this tower. The views were stunning and the Camera Obscura was fascinating. The talk was interesting and informative- definitely worth the entrance fee
