Well worth a visit for the panoramic views of the city. It is one of many towers in Cadiz that were once occupied by wealthy merchants and used to observe ships entering the harbour. Only caution is for those that have difficulty with climbing stairs.

The price 6€ is awful. They should reduce it. If you visite cathedral you pay 6€ for the seeing cathedral and the tower as well.

This is one of the hotspots of the city. Torre means tower in English. It was built in 18 centuries. At the time, it was the highest building allowing people to overlook the whole city with their own eyes. Now there are other buildings are...More

The climb is well worth the panoramic view and the visit to the camera obscura was brilliant. The commentary was given in both Spanish and then English so no problem.

The tower is situated in Cadiz old town and was once a home/business of a city merchant. Warning that there are 150+ steps to the top, but reward is a great view of the city, followed by an interesting talk & view of the Camera...More

Interesting and inexpensive with the added advantage of a gentle workout up the stairs. The views are excellent and allow you to orientate oneself in the city. the Camera Obscura is an interesting touch.

Our walking tour took us to a small plaza where we noticed many towers overlooking the area. We were recommended this tower because of the fantastic views of the city. However it is a bit of a climb so if mobility is an issue, this...More

This lovely old but tall tower is now on tourist trail because of the camera obscura. Worth visiting if you have never seen one in action before - it’s a bit of a climb to the top so be prepared.

They seem to run very frequently I'd say about every 30 minutes, but the problem is that it may not be in your language every 30 minutes. Although this would not be ideal I still think you'd enjoy the camera obscura. No need... More
