Highly against English people. Will make any excuse to kick them out. Horrible staff. Only one nice guy and he’s called Brin and lovely lady called amy, accept from them The staff are shocking, rude and not wanting to speak or communicate with anybody English. Everyone including security hate English people and will remove them for the slightest issue, chanting welsh are better. Don’t go here if your English or looking for a nice time. Miserable and ready to ruin your night.

The bar gets very over crowded and they try to pack as many people in as they can. It takes ages to get to the bar and once you got your drink you have a job to hold onto it as people are bumping into you right, left and centre. The group that were preforming sounded like the seagulls outside. Not a very enjoyable experience

We had flown from London for a few days to specifically see the amazing Joe Longthorne, we were not disappointed, the Live Lounge is a cosy retreat for a great night out, very friendly place, met some local people who were great fun, tickets waiting for us on the door as promised, we had a fab time, singing from the owners which in itself was brilliant, then the amazing Joe Longthorne, never fails to impress his audience especially here in such a close up and intimate atmosphere....brilliant. Used to go when it was owned years ago by julie and Doug. It was great then!! Then when Beaky took it over it still had live music and was a fun place to be. Now!!! Omg, the woman and man who own it are rude and obnoxious! She thinks she can sing but NOT! The surely faced Eastern European behind the bar could not care if you are there or not!! What a shame this place has turned out to be another 'Karaoke Bar'! If that's what you call live music don't bother! Obviously won't be going back!

We are regulars of the live lounge, yes it is 'tied and dated' but so are most uk night clubs when you put the lights on. How someone can compare it to Taninos across the road, one is a 'karoke' bar the other is a restaurant! Yes, the bulk of regulars who visit and support the bar are over 55, but we have frequented from June to current date and through the summer there is a mixture of all ages. If you want a uncomplicated night out, value for money and friendly please go but don't get there till after 10pm. Long may it continue!
