We spent a good 3 hours here. Loved the Archaeology floor. We needed a break in the cafe on the ground floor - tomatoes on toast and coffee very cheap. Restaurant on 4th floor gas a great view of the Alcazaba, but the outside seating...More

This museum is central, amazingly is free and is housed in the most beautiful building. We spent a good 2 hours there and were so glad we did as it is so interesting and all the exhibits have an explanation in English.

The Museum decided to close at 3pm (all signage said would be open until 5pm) so I was unable to fully enjoy this otherwise lovely modern layout museum.

Amazingly free and not to be missed. Fascinating insights dating back several centuries set out in an informative way. I loved seeing the range of paintings by Spanish artists rather than a single focus on just Picasso. There is a small coffee shop on the...More

Thoroughly enjoyed this museum also. The Archeology exhibits are a 10!......for us the Art exhibits were a 9! Entry was 1.5 euro/pp and worth every "penny".

We didn't have time to give this place full justice, but we were very impressed with the building and what had been done to it. The exhibits were very well displayed in lots of space, we saw the art collection which was very good.

We visited this museum on the day of our arrival in Malaga - it was a good way to get to know the city and the history. The museum is well maintained and as it was not peak season it was rather quiet and not...More

Some really stunning collections and interesting exhibits are housed within this well organised museum. We visited particularly to see Enrique Simonet Lombardo's "Anatomy of the heart" but found many more things to also enjoy.
