Third time we have visited Jardin Botanico Historico La Concepcion. The bus number 2 takes you up to the garden and a 10 minute walk. You can spend a good half to day wondering around the garden and cafe.

Go up to the iconic mirador to start, enjoy the panoramic views and then continue on the mirador trail for some very photogeneic hidden garden rooms and secluded spots. Then end by descending to gigantic trees and colossal bamboos and a couple of old bridges....More

This Park was a great discovery during our last round trip in Andalucia. It is quite near to Malaga city - just a few Kilometers north from the city center. I guess one could also go there by bike. From some parts of the park...More

This is a 19th century private estate with a very stately casa-palacio surrounded by a collection of sub tropical and temperate plants. As a landscape designer surely the most exceptional feature is the Plane Tree walk which appears to be the original drive access to...More

The day we visited the garden it was wet and cold. Not a good day to visit given that the stones can be slippery. Pretty gardens and would like to visit again on a nice day. It was a bit pricey, we thought, but that...More
