This museum has a main collection of Spanish art from the late 1800:s and early 1900:s mainly. The paintings are so beautiful, you get the feeling that you could walk straight into the scenes and you can imagine what the artist saw. Easily overlooked. One...More

This is a modern centre, which is really well situated if you're on the harbour front for a day out.

Carmen Thyssen is a germ, indeed. A huge collection of vintage Spanish artists, going back some 300 years. Dont miss it!

Very nice exhibit. Many artists and history. Worth doing. Only 6 euros! Guards on their game so don’t step over the line that’s drawn along the painting viewings.

Exquisite small gallery located in a 16th century Palacio which has been restored to house the collection of the Thyssen family. It is worth the visit for the home itself, beautifully restored and elegant. Life in Andulucia, full of colour and pathos, is depicted in...More

This museum gathers art from 1850’s to 1930’s. A fine collection of well known artists of the time depicting the life in rural and cities of Spain.

It is a new building built (2011) by a lover of Andalusia’s paintings and magical fine arts. It is based on the collection of Carmen Cervera, third wife of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza.

Not my favorite style of Art. Art is in the eye of the beholder. Probably a must see for art lovers with a wider taste than me.

Beautiful collection of paintings. This month the exhibition Mediterraneo shows an extraordinary collection of Spanish and French paintings. It’s on until September.

The museum is on a pedestrian street in the old town. I don't know about parking as we visited on foot, sorry. It is a much smaller museum than the one in Madrid but worth a visit. Have a lovely trip...
