Unlike the feria in Seville, the feria in Málaga is opened for all visitors. 6 million visitors every year. A must is to go to the feria in the city center, which starts after midday.

We live in Málaga but this was the first trip to the Feria. Normally in Málaga you can get good cheap food and drink. The Feria is nothing but a rip-off. Cans of drink in plastic cups, rubbish food, all at twice the price of...More

One of the biggest popular fairs on the Costa del sol. Starts with a firework display on the night before and lasts over a week. Don't expect to get much sleep so much going on. Live music throughout the city centre during the day and...More

Overall we had a great time at the feria as a family, wandering round the attractions and eating and drinking. Our experience was marred by one peña that advertised paella and various othe tapas outside for €3-5, then offered us other options including calamari and...More

Don't know quite what to make of it all. Was fully prepared for the crowds and baking hot conditions (walk to Malaga Centro Alameda station felt a lot longer in 35 degree heat!). The atmosphere is electric, wonderful seeing the ladies in flamenco gear and...More

If you dont mind seeing thousands of people drinking heavily in 30 degrees heat over the course of an afternoon - then go for it. I love a drink but this is crazy. Streets packed ...people urinating against walls, throwing up..walking through streets that stunk...More

Maybe a lot depends on who you go with...we went as part of a group from a bar in Torre. As a group that love to dance, it was great. We rarely had to buy a drink as there were lots of freebies. It was...More

Goodness. The city transforms from a lovely quieter version of Seville to a slightly manic rave in the streets. Pretty good natured but a little edgy in places. The street cleaners deserve medals - all restored by breakfast time each day.

Totally awesome fair. Great music and atmosphere. Lots of people singing and dancing in the streets. The entire city wraps itself around this occasion every year. Very festive occasion that is definitely a can't miss when you visit Malaga!
