Great find.

Hidden gem oozing all the charm and taste of a decades old fortified wine. Took a while to find but well worth the effort.

We went in and merely had to point at the barrel we wanted to taste (guessed by the price!) and had a few of the sweet sherries. the bar man writes what you owe on bar in chalk, and you pay when you are finished. This is a great place to mix with locals, taste what the locals taste, and... More

Went here with my friend who was studying in Malaga for a year. Nice to taste the local spirit. But caution it's very strong stuff.

Great vermouth and wines at bargain prices. Get your seafood from the man opposite the bar and enjoy this place.

This is a surprise: Malaga as you hope to experience it. Enjoy a "dulce" in a great environment. You'll love it.

Old style spanish wine bar serving the best of Malaga wines. It's like an old Yates wine bar with wines in casks. Don't be frightened to go in and ask for your type of wine Most wines €1.20 glass

We only had one night in Malaga and I had read about Antigua Casa De Guardia on TripAdvisor and knew my husband (and myself) would really enjoy this spot. We were not disappointed. After circling around the area for a few minutes we finally located it and were instantly transformed into another era. The atmosphere is old school, with probably... More

I go to Malaga every year for feria and, in anticipation of my upcoming 2016 trip, I thought I would check out the reviews for one of my favourite bodegas in the city. I have no idea what it is like outside of feria, but during that period it is pretty much rammed throughout the opening hours. In fact, I... More

If in Malaga, a visit to this Bodega and traditional Spain, is an opportunity not to be missed! Sherries galore and something for everyone's taste, if in doubt, just ask, most of the staff speak English and are extremely obliging. Warning, can become very comfortable/addictive, definitely not for drivers!!
