    Good day out
The only reason this didn't get 5 stars was due to the ludicrous pricing of refreshments. Thankfully, we brought food and water so it wasn't a problem for us. So the good stuff.... the Staff members are very friendly, the park has really good rides, almost zero queues today and the kids have had a ball. Would definitely return during the off peak, not sure what it would be like mid-summer.

    Overpriced and Run Down
Terrible water park in comparison to others we have visited. Everything was run down and over priced with hidden charges. Paid on the gate and was not offered the family ticket price which was available online. Cost €135 for 2 adults and 2 children, no discount was offered even though 2 rides were closed due to maintenance work which we thought was extortionate. On entering the park we were then charged another €11 for a locker rental, €5 of which you get back on returning the locker token. Sunbeds were plentiful, although we visited in October half term and the park in general was quiet. However between €5-€7 for a sun bed!? We opted to sit on the grass for free. The park was being renovated it seems which I believe it desperately needed. Everything was looking tired and grubby. Getting food was a bit of a joke. Luckily we ate early and didn't have to queue as later in the day the queue was huge (around 30 mins just to order) from the one shack which was open (again possibly due to being end of season). €11 for one coke and one small portion of chips. €3.50 for a bottle of water!? The park itself had enough to do, my children thoroughly enjoyed all the slides, bonus that there were barely any queues as it was so quiet. We spent almost 5 hours there. Had it been busy I think there would have been a huge shortage of inflatable rings and mats. One particular slide, The Mine, it seemed the inflatables were too big for the tube. People kept getting stuck half way down. At one point a child was stuck screaming while the lifeguard ran between the top and bottom of the slide before sending her father down to push her through! On site photographer took some lovely photos, just a shame that the day out itself was so expensive as €10 per photo after paying a small fortune for the day out already was a no go. As much as we had fun, I wouldn't go back. The price was just too much for what was there.

Not much for kids who under 120cm tall.
Went with my 2 boys one 9 and other 6. Youngest cried his eye's out as was allowed to go on a ride that he really enjoyed with me in a double ring, to then quee for the same ride and get told was too small 2nd time round by 3cm. If your child is below 120cm there's not much in terms of rides for them just pools with small slides. Food and drink pricey and only one kiosk was open due to time of year so long wait for

    Great for small kids
Great water park, not huge but enough for the kids to have fun! Great area for small kids, not much for just adults! Queue for the restaurant was very long! If you want to do the rides you better get the fast pass, otherwise you would wait very long! I didnt expect to have to pay for sunbeds, so budget to pay for that too! There are areas you can stay without paying for sunbeds but if you are with small kids, the areas are sorrounded by sunbeds, so your only option is to pay for them if you want to be close to the play areas and watch your kids!

Safety issues and fairly pointless fast pass system
My partner and I visited Aqualand on a Monday. We were hoping this might mean it was less crowded, but not sure this was the case. The place was pretty packed and so we decided to purchase fast passes for 20 euros each. However, these were not particularly helpful as we still waited almost 40 minutes to get on the 2 inflatable ring slides we queued for. Like another person who has submitted a review, we were in a queue for one slide when there was a collision between two inflatable rings due to an apparent error from the lifeguards. We saw one young lad with significant grazes on his body and this impacted our confidence in the ability of the staff to maintain safety and our enjoyment of the day. The wave pool seemed to have little more than mild ripples and the park is lacking a lazy river. If I had to list positives, we enjoyed the speed racer, that was a great slide. The park is in a nice setting. We were able to have beers as part of our meal deal at no extra cost. The food was fairly decent for a water park and the last serving us was friendly and helpful. Would i recommend this park? I’d have to say no. I’ve now read a few other comments about safety issues and feel the park seriously need to address this. If they can do this, and make the fast pass system more worthwhile then I would recommend

Really good day out for a young family
Visited Aqualand today (Weds 26th June). Capacity was busy but not at all overcrowded. This review is specific to our experience as a family of 4 with a 6 and 3 year old. We’d read the other reviews and were a little nervous, additionally entry is not cheap…but for our needs (and more importantly the needs of our kids) it was fantastic! Spent the whole day there, the kids area was great and split across 4 pools, 3 of which have various slides and games which grow in size and encourage confidence building. Pools were clean, staff helpful and pleasant. Yes, there was a couple of accidents (bumps into other children on slides etc…) some other reviews blame this on poor pool supervision - in our case the lifeguard came over and apologised. There’s a lot going on for staff and parents so you do have to keep a close eye on young ones but that’s absolutely fine and we expected. Food and ancillaries are pricey as mentioned in other reviews, but that’s not uncommon across parks/attractions of this nature, abroad or back in the UK. Don’t let that put you off, take food or have a big breakfast to reduce spending there - if you have kids similar age to ours they will absolutely love it and there was no queuing in the younger area (lease note we didn’t go on any of the larger slides/rides owing to age of kids so can’t comment on queue lengths etc….)

    Great day out but expensive
Family of 6. We were worried about all the bad reviews but we had a great day out. Although it is v expensive. Went mid week in early July. We got there for 10.30am and left at 5pm. We had the fast pass which was a game charger once the rides got busy in the afternoon. Without it we would have been queuing for an hour for the big rides. Food is way over priced for what they offer so bring a packed lunch if you can. Safety is pretty lax, the life guards give no guidance at the top of the slides as to weight distribution. There is one slide that 3 people can go down together on, avoid this as both myself and my partner hit our legs going down, there was no way to avoid it. Overall we all had a great day out, the kids loved it, but without the fast pass we wouldn’t have had time to go on so many rides.

    Disappointing new rides
We have previously been to Aqualand with our family and enjoyed the day, albeit begrudging the additional cost of fast passes, as so many people seemed to have them. This year, we visited, looking forward to trying the new rides added. We were very disappointed, the rides that replaced the lazy river and the body slides were less than exciting. The queues were also ridiculous. Whist we fully expected to queue, even with. Fast pass, you could expect to wait 45min to 1hr. This was not solely due to the number of people, more the delays in allowing people on the rides, we timed 4 min at one point between a person reaching the bottom of the hurricane and the next person going. With one lifeguard at the top of 5 slides, it meant it was incredibly slow. Whilst I understand safety precautions, this seemed well beyond these. This is also the first water park we have visited that makes no allowances/adaptations for disabilities, the conversation was shut down straight away at the info office. Overall, disappointed with a very expensive day.

Waiting time for the Hurakan is simply too long!
Family of 4 went on a Tuesday. Having been waiting in line with our "standard" access just seeing the Fast pass holders "skipping the queue", we realized that a Fast pass would be required to create the feeling that you actually get to try a lot in a day even though this was 30 EUR/person and as such double up on the entry price. This gave you fast access to quite a few of the rides. Still, we had to wait in line for +45 minutes for the Hurakan (apparently the new one) which consists of 5 different slides, where just a single employee were to manage the access from at least 6 different queues, this did not work at all. Fast pass holders were not allowed access faster, and it was impossible to identify the "rule" for accessing. Several guests expressed their disappointment! Hence, we decided not to waste time on standing in line for the 4 other rides that Hurakan offers. For the other rides the fast pass actually worked. Further, on the positive note is that you can bring your own food and drinks (no glass containers).

    Very expensive and long queues
Bery expensive for what you get! On top of tickets, you need to pay for parking, storage, sunbeds and fast pass! Almost 4€ for a small bottle of water! We didnt pay for fast pass and waited over an hour to go on a slide on a very hot day! Great for small kids!

Our visit to Aqualand in July 2020 was great. Due to the Covid-19 panic, it was a bonus, as it was pretty empty. However, BE WARNED, they still charge 4 euros per sunbed, which I think is a bit of a liability! As soon as we saw the bed warden, we rolled onto the grass, sharpish.
Although there were some rides that weren't open, such as the rapids, the queues for the other rides were short, so we were able to go on many rides time and time again, with no worries.
The wave pool was good.
Not many snacks bars were open, but for 8 euros a slushie, I didn't grumble! No wonder they wore masks......bloody cowboys!
All in all, a very enjoyable, family experience.

I genuinely believe the positive feedback on here is fake, I can't see how anyone can have a 'fantastic' time here? This place is completely overpriced and basically forces you to spend an extra 25 euros each for fast track so u can then get the experience you should have anyway. Without fast track you need a yellow ring, so they limit each ride to about 10 yellow and 30 red fast track rings-this way, customers get sick of waiting over an hour for a yellow ring and to make sure they can go on more than 5 rides in 1 day are forced to buy fast track. I don't see how this is even legal to be honest it's disgusting. I saw so many angry customers on the one day I was there and I completely understood their frustration. My friends did not buy fast track and in 8 hours managed 5 rides. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Where is this money even going too as it is definitely not back into upgrading the park! Shame on you Aqualand.

Really disappointed by today’s visit to Aqualand. The queues were about an hour long for each slide because the park allow people who have purchased a €35 additional fast pass ticket on before any other person in the queue. Very frustrating when you’ve already paid €44 per ticket. Also many of the slides were only half open i.e where there were two or three lanes, only one was operating. Maybe they are experiencing staffing problems but if that’s the case they should admit less people. On one ride, we queued for a rubber ring for 45 minutes to then enter another 20 minute queue to get into the water only to find the river itself jam packed with riders. It was incredibly dangerous as riders would come down a sliding section and crash into the queue of riders waiting to move on. It was frightening and at one stage a child was catapulted out of his ring landing on top of me and pushing us both into the wall with force. The ride had only opened one side so everyone was squashed together. The food is hugely overpriced but luckily we’d been advised to make up sandwiches from the hotel breakfast buffet first by our tour operator guide. We also took many bottles of water. €17 for a burger! They even charge €5 for a Sun lounger! I would definitely avoid this place. The only bonus I could say is that the toddler splash pools seemed calm with plenty of space but if you have children who want to ride the water slides, AVOID.

For the price, you would hope that lockers would be complimentary rather than an extra 5€ + 5€ deposit, the queues were long which we kind of understood given the season.
Rapids were a severe let down. Both my partner and I slipped on stepping in and we’re barely acknowledged by the staff. I ended up out of my ring more than it, helping others get through when they met a bottle neck.
To top off the day, over by the children’s area my partner witnessed a child vomit in the pool and nothing was done. Our cue to leave.
Probably not the lifeguards fault, he had about 200 people in a small area to keep his eye on.
We are spoilt in the UK with the high health and safety standards so it was really noticeable this place lacks it.
My advice would be… spend your day by your hotel/apartment pool or head to the beach for the day. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Shame as we were looking forward to it.
The small positive is my daughter enjoyed it which made us happy.

Took advice and booked tickets online for the following day to benefit from online 10% discount and to avoid queue at ticket office on arrival. (Can't book same day tickets online)

Online price was €29 each

Price for locker is €6 with 5€ deposit returned at end of day with both key and receipt slip. Lockers are big enough for a back pack and shoes.

Didn't purchase FastPass initially, after 30mins in the first queue we went back and purchased the FastPass armband for another 15€ each. If its busy time of the year its well worth the extra. As floats etc are specific for "free" or FassPass customers.

Food: bring a picnic and a towel (sun lounger is 5€) to sit on. Coke was 4.50€. Meal was 15.50 for hot dog and few chips.

Got a taxi from torremolinos centre was a few euro.

Is honestly never come back here again, the experience was bit huge but stressful and disappointing. Queues are crazy busy there’s no point going unless you update to fast pass which is another €35 per person. The kids were anxious as there’s just so many people crammed into one place and at least an hour wait for every ride, horrible place.

Visited Aqualand 25th july 2022 and paid £185 for 4 adults and 4 children. We decided NOT to pay fast track which would have doubled this amount. There are red rubber rings for fast track and blue/yellow for non fast track. We got on 5 rides despite being there from 10am til 6pm. ( rides closed at 5.30 pm) There is a huge amount of fast track rings compared to non fast track rings so you are waiting a long long time to get a ring. Waited approx 1hr 40mins for one of the rides. Many Spanish skip the queues and when highlighted to staff they just ignore and allow this to happen. We witnessed this multiple times and actually saw the staff laughing with the spanish at the people complaining about the skipping.

The wave pool is ridiculous, no waves at at all.

Waited 45 mins in a queue for some water as no other alternative.

Bought lunch for 8 of us, one burger each with a drink costing £148.

Dont know how they get away with this but a complete rip off. Do not go. Kids were so disappointed as did not even get on jalf the rides

Such a con

We visited here as a family of 3 ( 2 adults 1 x 10 year old) and were apprehensive about visiting after reading many bad reviews but found it to be really good. Yes the park needs a little attention but the slides are great, if you are expecting Florida or Dubai then you will be disappointed but if you are happy with a typical European water park at a reasonable price then you will have a great time, we arrived at 10:00 and spent 5 hours here going on all the slides several times, no need for fast pass as many reviews state we waited no more than 15 mins for any slides and most of them were only 5 minutes maximum. Sunbeds were 7 euros each which I don’t have a problem with but I don’t agree with paying for parking even though it was only 2 euros. We left around 15:00 and the queues were starting to building up a little but by this time I wasn’t bothered as I was exhausted. Would definitely visit again.

This place gets bad reviews with very good reason. It's an exercise is zero thought for customers, just pack them in and milk them for everything they can once they've got you. Basic entry is expensive enough but then to have to buy a fast pass to make queuing anything close to tolerable is ridiculous. Another 54 euro for 3. So just under 150 euro for 2 adults and a 6 year old for the day and they'll hit you again if you want a sun lounger and again if you want a locker. But even with a fast pass you're queuing as ultimately you have hundreds of people trying to get on just a handful of slides. Without a fast pass, queues were around over an hour. Fast pass queue, maybe half tha and as they're prioritised it just makes non fast pass even slower. It's a horrible system.
With just a bit of thought they could improve the customer experience. Something like colour coded 1 hour windows with limited numbers for each session could work. More ticket options would be helpful too, kids probably more inclined to suck it up and queue than adults, so a limited use or even access only, no slide option for cheaper entry would be good.
We came here with our eyes open, having read the reviews but thought we would be just ahead of peak season so it would be a bit quieter but we were wrong.
So definitely a buyer beware choice, all of the bad reviews are completely justified.

Visited here just a week after reopening following lockdown. Tickets booked online at a discounted price (€20 per adult). Upon entering we felt that they were just trying to get money off you for everything - photos, fast passes, lockers, sunbeds, €3.90 for a bottle of water.
We settled onto a couple of loungers and headed for the wave pool only to discover that the waves came on once per hour and for 10 minutes at a time. We then headed to the kids areas with our 4 year old, she loved it but the lifeguards were useless as a 1.5 year old was climbing up the slide then was about to drop off the side of it. We reported it to the lifeguard and he said ‘I’m only here to look’, parents were nowhere to be seen. All in all, we felt that having been to other water parks on holidays, this one felt very dated and missing a lazy river.
