This is a pedestrianised area and work is ongoing - there are lots of places to sit and people watch. Plenty of bars and restaurants as well as shops from cheap and cheerful to stylish boutiques. From here you can take the steps back down to the beach area, Well worth the effort.

This is up on the hill and another plaza with shops and restaurants nearby. There was an equestrian event with show riders and horses nearby when I was up there. You want to hit this area, then shop, eat and wander around then take nearby San Miguel to the beach.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great atmosphere and people watching was hysterical my son enjoyed petting the local dogs with their Christmas jumpers on. A very international feel to the place as I heard accents from various countries.

Looks like a newly converted plaza area with cafes and shops and near to Torremolinos station. Fine for those that like sitting out in the cafes and watching people perhaps but not much here.

This Plaza was the main road through Torremolinos and the new PSOE council decided to see if it would work as a pedestrian town centre. So it is a work in progress. So far omens are good (October 2016) but it will need a lot of work and money to repave it and plant it and make it really attractive.... More
