Good flamenco, great food

We went for the show but were more impressed with the food. The local dishes are especially good. The oxtail stuffed with ham was my favorite.

Our visit was arranged by our hotel so we had a shuttle trip that first stop at San Nicholas, where we had a breathtaking view of the Alhambra at night. We then travelled to Venta El Gallo, where we climbed steep steps and entered a small room that featured a stage and sparkling lights. We were delighted by the energy... More

Spot on time pick up. Friendly English-speaking guide. Sadly as others have said despite the flamenco being good the performers were disinterested and chatted between themselves all through the performances. We found somewhere just opposite our hotel which was fantastic.

The food was good, the show was OK - what we did not expect was that after the show finished, there were no taxis around. When we asked the attendant, I believe the owner to call one, she said that we only had to walk three minutes to find a taxi stop. The three minute walk turned out to be... More

Dreadful tourist trap. I should've seen it coming when the minibus pulled up to the hotel. We then spent an hour waiting for other hotel pick ups. Then a really dull walking tour around San Nicolas which we'd already done ourselves. It was a full 2 hours from pick up to seeing the 1st show. Crap venue & a flamenco... More

The show was interesting but too short and could probably be better. The view inside the room is not very good except for people at the front. It made me want to ser more flamenco but in a better setting!

The dancers are good but the venue makes THE EXPERIENCE TERRIBLE. Unless you are in the first rows, you can not enjoy the show. The view gets blocked by tourists taking pictures and the waiter delivering drinks. We were very disappointed.

Total tourist trap. You are herded in and then served an indiscriminate drink. The stage is set up so that unless you are in the first row you cannot see anything. Meanwhile the audience is divided between people dining and sitting at several tables and those only getting a drink who are seated in rows of chairs. Very uncomfortable and... More

Absolutely fantastic. Traditional Andalucian Flamenco in the original caves. Great value, great atmosphere, fabulous dancers. A must in Granada...

The dancers put on an excellent show. There were three female and one male dancers who really worked hard at putting on a great show. The two singers and guitar players were also very good. The venue itself could be better. It was overly warm to begin with and then when the patrons were packed in to seating that resembled... More
