Absolutely amazing place of must status. Fusion of Christian and Muslim influence in Spain, architecture, way of life. Spanish guide was perfect could answer every question. Just one recommendation even one day is not enough

Book weeellllll in advance. I booked 2 months in advance and had to buy a different type of ticket, because the normal ticket was already booked up. Mark it on your calendar to visit 3 months in advance. And get the Audio guide!

I know you can take drinks in but I dont remember seeing anyone bring food but I also dont remember anyone checking for it. Sorry not much help
