Despite the heat the gardens were an extremely pleasant place to be. Really well kept and a great deal of variety of plants and styling. The free water fountains in the gardens were most welcome. Plan to spend about 2-3 hours here, just wandering about...More

The Generalife gardens are beautifully designed with impressive views from the Alcazaba fort. Summer flowers, trees and greenery are spectacular and lush - lavender, bouganvillia. myrtle bushes, orange trees, cypresses and rosebushes. The design of the waterways is one of the most interesting part of...More

The Summer Palace, beautiful. We really enjoyed our visit and I don't think a visit to the Alhambra would be complete without visiting this too.

Grounds are well maintained... walk around relax and maybe get a good picture of the reflecting pond.

These terraced gardens are spectacular! Endless detail, surprising vistas and a charming home away from the palace at the top. Well worth the time.

This is the taster for things to come. Go see this first and then tour the rest, you won't be disappointed.

Opted for the 3 hour tour which included the Alhambra. Would strongly recommend using a tour guide and booking well in advance. Very crowded, but the tours were well coordinated to avoid over crowding at particular points.

Try to go early to the queue, you should get your tickets. Or if you are at a hotel try to get a tour, because the gardens are better to see on tour with good guide!! Nice trip
